Logos • Looks & Feels
Throughout my twenty year career, design was always my true love. I’ve designed everything from a major marketing event at the 2010 Winter Olympics to a local coffee roaster logo. Throughout it all, I’ve lived by four rules: make it simple, unique, metaphorical and beautiful. Effective design is direct—it should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler. A unique design is a more memorable design. In a congested landscape, it needs to stand out. Great metaphors tell complex stories quickly and succinctly. So does great design. And finally, no matter what you do—make it beautiful.
