Lagunitas Couchtrippin’

What’s the best part about a road trip? Not having to drive. We took fans on a virtual road trip with a wacky, personalized, Google Maps-based experience called CouchTrippin’ for Lagunitas Brewery.

Fans of the brewery entered to win a Lagunitas-fueled party in their hometown by creating customized videos taking them on the CouchTrippin’ tour from Austin, TX, past obscure roadside landmarks, through the Lagunitas brewery, to their own front door. Literally, to the Google Street View outside their house. If you haven’t been to a CouchTrippin’ show before, it’s kinda like the Lagunitas brewery experience on the road with live music, freaktacular entertainment from their annual Beer Circus and their well-loved brewery couches turned into green-screen video booths. All fueled with a bunch of tasty Lagunitas brews.

The site and social videos earned 1,003,407 more impressions than the previous year, contributing to a 526% increase in engagments and a few more fans for the brewery.
